Did you see the Chinese couple? I have always been fascinated by them and how the heck they got to Ferentillo such a long time ago and then became mummies.
Yes, isn’t that strange? There are actually three Chinese mummies, but they don’t know if the third is somehow connected to the honeymooners. I didn’t tell all the stories in the blog post, because some of the charm (charm?!?) of the place is hearing each mummy’s history from the guide.
how do you get to it?
Ferentillo is a tiny town, so just park outside the town gates and walk towards the church. It’s pretty much the only site in town for visitors, so you can’t miss it.
