I agree 110% …I will steal this, ’cause it works so well for Le Marche too! :)
@Giulia…go ahead and steal! But speak of me kindly….
Wonderful advice! I wish I had more time so I could visit Italy as often as I used to.
Thanks, George! It seems to be that when we have the time to travel, we don’t have the money…and when we have the money, we don’t have the time….
OK I have to just say that Umbria is one of those wonderful jewels that doesn’t get as much attention as the completely discovered Tuscany. It’s just a beautiful and there are not nearly as many tourists (at least when we lived there a few years ago) And the festivals are amazing! There is always something going on – our favorite being Calendimaggio in Assisi – don’t miss it! It is spectacular!
Rosemary, true words spoken by one who knows!
the picture is norcia‑piazza‑san‑benedetto
Nope! Good guess, though ;)
Is the church just outside Spoleto?
Nope. But it *is* between Assisi and Spoleto. Just to narrow it down a little ;)
