The bright, white and terra cotta tiled bathroom includes a combined whirlpool tub and curtained shower, toilet, and bidet. We leave our own hand made soap and lavender sachet for you on the country style sink. This vacation apartment sleeps four guests: two on the queen bed in the bedroom, one on the hide-a-bed (which can be wheeled anywhere in the apartment) and one on the sofa-bed in the kitchen/sitting room. Because of its ground floor position, Il Focolare apartment is a particularly child friendly holiday rental in Umbria. We can easily add a crib and highchair, if needed for your family’s holiday. Located on the ground floor of the farmhouse, this self catering apartment boasts a wood-burning fireplace perfect for grilling in the light-filled kitchen sitting room. There is a full kitchen with refrigerator, four burner stove, dishes, cutlery, cookware, and linens. We also provide a drip coffee maker for our American guests, and a tea kettle for our British ones. There is table seating for four at the kitchen table, where you will find a basket filled with goodies from our farm (including fresh eggs, home made jams, and our own wine) upon your arrival. There is also a cheerful checked sofa which converts to a single bed. The satellite tv is discreetly placed in a wall niche which was once the door to a wood burning stove. 
The simple yet lovely bedroom of Il Focolare Apartment has a wrought iron queen sized bed with firm mattress, rustic wooden armoire, small stuffed armchair, and an additional single hide-a-bed. This folding bed on wheels is tucked away in a coordinating wooden cabinet topped with a hand painted Deruta ceramic vase filled to brimming with fresh flowers. The window, covered in crisp white linen curtains, looks up onto Mount Subasio.
