Thank you for sharing the wonderful tasting of the fabulous wines at Terre Margaritelli and the wonderful food! The wines of Italy are some of my favorites. Have a divine summer!

Monte Vibbiano - Lorenzo, whose family owns the estate, spoke to us personally about his passionate commitment to create wonderful wine and olive oil in harmony with the environment. Both Lorenzo and his wife spoke with us and were truly gracious hosts. Our tour guide was not only personable but also very knowledgable of the long history of the estate. The tasting was accompanied with local cheese and bread to pair with their olive oil and wine ... We could have stayed all day.

Terre Margaritelli - We were fortunate that Federico was able to accomodate us with a tour on very short notice. While we didn't do the horseback tour, we had a wonderful time as Federico explained the history of the vineyard while showing us the wheres and hows of their wine making process. We were treated to a tasting complete with local cheese, olive oil and meats in the beautiful tasting area on tables made from old wine casks. It was an exceptional experience.

Oh yea, both places had great wine. Sadly, we didn't have enough time to visit Saio. Next time!
