Great info here, and I agree with you 100% about vacation rentals! It is the way to go, especially when traveling as a family with young children (my current situation). Can’t wait to get back to Umbria next month!

Dont forget the inexpensive way we locals buy our “house wine” directly from producers and the cost is usually 1,50-2.50 per litre…a great savings .
